Cooling down, at last...

Dear ones, hello!
Just wanted to put your minds at ease and let you know that we made it through the blazing days and are feeling pretty good now. (Plus Devi's recent two-month-doctor's-visits all went perfectly--though her first shot, HIB, left her pretty confused and tired out.) Tonight's walk around the neighborhood (and frisbee to keep Roti going) was in fleece-wearing temps. So we transitioned from hanging around in onesies...

...to bundling up at dusk! Here's Devi at the end of the day, mellow after being worn in a sling for a little while:

So all continues well and we are getting some sleep--and starting to plan for June meetings in biology and geology. Seems like we might be getting the hang of the newborn-parenting thing; it's all about embracing a joyful chaos.
!

Take good care and more soon,
love to you,
dawn

I'm glad you survived the heat!

I'm sure you guys know this already, but Devi's got BEAUTIFUL eyes! Glad you're getting more sleep, too. Hang in there! Dawn, any chance you're going to GSA in October? This will be my first time going!
